The CEOSS local development unit continues to work on achieving one of its strategic objectives. The objectives aim at improving the quality of life as well as enhancing the livelihood opportunities through sustainable and fair development of the most vulnerable areas and communities such as women, young people, people with disabilities and children at risk. Therefore, activities of the economic development program are being implemented as one of the development programs inside the development unit.
During this month the following were achieved:
- Improved the managerial efficiency of 47 people (of whom 14 were young men and 33 were young women). They were trained upon some topics such as (secretary works, accounting, computer skills, and others). This aimed at improving their skills and increasing their opportunities to obtain jobs.
- Recruited 38 people (of whom 20 were young men and 18 were young women) either through training them or directly employing them without training. This took place through linking the available jobs requirements and young people skills.
