During the past period, Egypt witnessed the second phase of the” road map”, announced on the 3rd of July by figures of the political and religious currents of society. It is expected that this phase will experience economic, political and social growth pushing homeland steps forward. It also includes re-formulation of opinion and giving more freedom, which increases the national cohesion and confidence-building.
In this context, FID-CEOSS– organized an intellectual meeting entitled “new state and variety expectations – dialogue of civil society” during the period from June 24 to 25, 2014.
The meeting seeks to discuss some of the important issues in the Egyptian society in the “new Egypt”, in the presence of about 300 public and religious leaders as well as intellectuals, university professors, journalists and media professionals.
