Horus Hospital seeks to increase clients’ trust of the hospital’s services and their resorting to its services, a matter which will make them more loyal to the hospital. This is achieved through continuing to provide high quality services. The following has been implemented:
- 28 field convoys have been implemented in different governorates (Cairo, Beni-Suef, Minia). 2145 poor and marginalized citizens have benefitted from these services through activating partnerships with CBOs with which the Local Development Unit has entered into contracts.
- A report that investigates the present situation has been prepared based on the results of training in: the concepts of quality and its development; the dissemination of the culture of quality while analyzing the present situation in the hospital through monitoring points of strength and weakness; and the identification of performance gaps. The items of the report include: quality standards; relating quality standards to performance gaps as well as identifying a number of operational procedures to bridge the performance gaps. This is in order to apply international standards for health establishments which are reflected, in turn, on the patient, the hospital, and the community.
