CEOSS FID organized a conference entitled “Economic policies in Egypt” on 1st of April 2015 with the participation of a group of specialists in economy, intellectuals, university professors, religious leaders and civil society activists.
Rev. Dr. Andrea Zaki, CEOSS General Director, declared «the Egyptian economic conference succeeded in achieving a kind of an international legitimacy through the attendance of many representatives of various countries of the world, whether from Africa, Asia, Europe or America. the confernce also succeeded in putting Egypt again on the map of global investments and restored its role as one of the most important and attractive places for investment in the world in both local and international levels.»
The conference addressed research and analysis of the important themes about outcomes of the conference by Dr. Ahmed Al-Najjar, Chairman of Al-Ahram Foundation and Dr. Sherin El Shawarby, Economics professor at Cairo University. The meeting also discussed the investment context after the conference by economist Dr. Medhat Nafei, and Dr. Rashad Abdo, head of the Egyptian Forum for Economic and Strategic Studies; and finally social justice and economic policies presented by Dr. Majid Osman, director of Egyptian Center for Public Opinion Research and Dr. Nevin Kabbaj Chancellor of Minister of Social Solidarity. »
