Achievements of the Project
– Establishment of 10 computer centers in the partner associations to offer high quality services for youth
– Training 30 youth from both genders so that they would be trained and have the ability to manage training workshops.
– Establishing a database for the project where 23700 youth of both genders are registered and 2000 private sector companies and enterprises.
– 1333 young ladies and young men were trained on different skills and they opened classes for training others (training the trainers)
– 24173 youth of both genders joined training workshops and they successfully passed the training workshops.
– 2628 youth of both genders joined jobs inside and outside of the project which guarantees a decent and suitable life for them.
– Establishing a website (the beehive) to educate the community regarding different issues and displaying the expertise of the civil community organizations to exchange expertise among them in addition to monitoring all the jobs available daily in front of the youth, so that they can choose what suits them www.Egypt.Thebeehive.org
– Establishing the tel-markets which is a service for short messages on cellular phones as a link between youth at a working age and the companies that need employees who have special skills……. for communication 6062
– Employing 10 field editors to manage the beehive website and the tel market at the level of partner associations.
– Participating in and organizing 6 employment forums in Cairo and Beni Suef with the participation of 2900 young men and 124 (private sector) companies and providing 7,100 jobs for youth at companies.
– (30) Grassroots Associations participate with the basic associations in implementing the different activities of the project to guarantee the spreading of the interventions of the project and making use of them.
– 743826 visitors on the beehive website to profit from the services of the website.
– 26601 youth have been registered on the tel market and 2256 sector companies downloaded their employment opportunities on tel market.
– 454 youth of both genders found job opportunities through the services of tel market
– The percentage of female participation in the different stages of the project is not less than 50%
It is an international website that has been established in Egypt through an employment project. This website aims at educating the society about the different issues (health issues, agricultural issued, education issues, environmental issues and employment issues. It also displays some of the distinguished expertise and developmental achievements which gives the opportunity to the enterprises of civil communities to acquire various expertise during the implementation of the activities. The website also provides the service of advertising about different products (in all fields).
As for employment, it daily publishes some of the available jobs for youth at a working age, so that they can communicate with the companies in order to fill occupy those jobs. It also publishes some of the topics that develop the ideas of youth with regard to free-lancing and some of the youth’s stories of success. The Egyptian beehive website occupies the third position (the number of countries that designed sites similar to this site are 10 countries) for frequenting this website. The number of visitors on this website has reached 743826 frequent visitors till now. Also a facebook page has been designed for participation. Egyptbeehive/FB The number of those who joined the page is 4811. The number of visitors on the page has reached 250000 visitor.
The tel market system
This system was established through the project and it is a service for short messages on the cell phone. This system aims at linking between the business owners and job seekers. That is through that the youth at a working age register their curriculum vitae on the system. The companies that have work opportunities register the available opportunities and required skills and documents in order to occupy this job and also the method of joining those companies. Through this system, there is a conformity between the needs of business owners and the skills of the youth who are seeking jobs. Then the young man follows takes the procedures for applying and joining the company and provides all the documents required. Registration for youth and companies is made through the cellular phone. The registration takes place on No. (6062) or the website jobsegypt.mysouktel.com. The system also offers some services such as sending awareness messages to certain categories and makes a questionnaire and Referendum to measure customer satisfaction.
Registration for youth
Through interacting between the messages sent by youth on number 6062, which will be answered directly through the website, the young man will register his Curriculum Vitae on the website and he can make a conformity to get acquainted with the available jobs which are suitable for his abilities and that takes place through 12 messages at the same price of a normal message. Registration can also take place through the website and that is through that youth fill an application.
