My name is Farha Gamal Sayed, fifth grade primary, Talah, Elminya. I studied at civil education classes. When I first went there, I did not know what the meaning of (Civil Education) is. I did not know what I am going to study. Afterwards, I began to know many things about freedom, democracy, and equality. I knew that we are children, we are free to choose, we have rights and we are committed by obligations. In addition, I knew how to claim my rights in a polite way that does not annoy the person whom I am talking to, and does not make such person nervous towards me.
I was always felling that daddy loves my brother more than me, giving him more pocket money, and by him better clothes. After a while, while I was studying in the class, I knew how to claim my rights and importance of equality between me and my brother. I talked with mum and daddy. They were very happy about me. I could increase my pocket money for me and my brother as well. There is no difference between us anymore.
All thanks to education, which I received, which opened my minds for many things.
