My name is Fayza, I’m 37 years old from Ashmant village, I’m married with 3 children. While all of my children are in school, I never had the opportunity to get an education. My husband works in manufacturing, but he only earns 250 pounds each month.
I considered finding a job to help my husband support the family, as well as trying to find a way to get an education. Unfortunately, I couldn’t find a job that would hire me without a literacy certificate. I was fortunate to find a job working with CEOSS as a buffet worker. Through this position I learned about the Knowledge is Power program and learned how to read and write. I was able to work more efficiently and take on greater responsibilities. One of the biggest benefits is being able to read with my children and help them study. Education and CEOSS have truly changed my life.
