The Rehabilitation program seeks to improve the quality of life for people with disabilities through empowering them and providing rehabilitation services. the ultimate goal of integrating people with disabilities into society completely can be achieved through rehabilitation, increased accessibility of communities, and working with the larger community to be accepting of people with disabilities.
- 340 people with disabilities representing 13 different governorates participated in 16 social dialogue sessions. The social dialogue sessions focused on the drafting of a law to protect the rights of people with disabilities that was presented by the National Council for Persons with Disabilities.
- CEOSS, the National Council of Persons with Disabilities, and the Ministry of Finance’s “Public budget sector” have planned to cooperate to design and implement 2 new initiatives to propote greater social inclusion of people with disabilities.
- 35 people with disabilities participated in a capacity building workshops to help them learn their rights and be able to participate in society more fully.
